My services include arranging a home study to help prepare applicants for parenting an adopted child. During this process, a social worker will gather relevant information about the applicants and require important documents from them. I work with the social worker to help the process run smoothly and efficiently. The home study typically takes an average of 30 days.
Under normal circumstances, consent of adoption of a child is required by the birth parents, the guardians, and any child over the age of 12 years. Level Up Legacy Planning completes the necessary paperwork for birth parents to give consent to the adoption of a child.
